I got to meet John and Sherry from Young House Love, one of the first blogs I started reading. I bought their new book, and they signed that and a piece of our new floor tile. (We ended up at The Tile Shop because they highly recommended it.)

Before we packed it all up, I wanted to document the art in our apartment. Perhaps in the new house, we'll have room to showcase more than one artist.

new floors

With radiant heat, it doesn't make much sense to have shaggy carpet AND linoleum, so we had it all ripped out and replaced with slate-looking ceramic tiles. So much nicer! Thanks Tile Shop!
