T is for trouble

The beginning of what I'm sure will be a long career of destruction.

playing tourist

After passing a cold around for two weeks, we were eager to get out of the house as soon as we started feeling better. We had lunch at the Warming Hut, then braved a windy walk across the Golden Gate Bridge. We even caught a rainbow on the way back.

Back home to celebrate 12/25 in San Francisco, and Miles is still eating the wrapping paper.

And his gifts.

choo choo!

Miles had so much fun visiting the Kenilworth Holiday Train Garden with his buddy, Jimmy, we had to go back the next day with Papa. Good thing Mommy remembered the camera this time!

another party!

I suppose one of the benefits of having extended family on both coasts is multiple birthday celebrations. Miles had fun with more cake and presents.

holiday fun

Thank you, loyal readers, for your patience. Between the holidays, illness, and visitors, the days just got away from me. Oh, and those bonbons and soap operas have been keeping me busy too - this stay-at-home-mom thing is so leisurely!

While Gammy was in town after Thanksgiving, we visited the Conservatory of Flowers for their holiday train garden. It featured miniatures of San Francisco landmarks, built entirely out of scavenged materials by the Recology's artist-in-residence. (Yes, San Francisco has an artist-in-residence at the dump.)

mommy's in trouble

This was Miles' reaction when he learned I haven't posted anything in over a month.

I know, I know. It's been a while. Please be patient, I'll have updates soon, I promise.
